Did you know that your vehicle can easily and seriously be damaged by the cold weather regardless of how well it may be maintained? Nasty cold weather can do some serious damage to your vehicle’s various parts and engines.

In fact, freezing winter weather can actually lessen the reliability of your spark plugs and your batteries, which obviously is not good. Of course, having a portable jumper starter such as this helps in case of a dead battery.

In addition, statistically speaking, more accidents also occur during winter due to poor visibility, icy road conditions, and other unpredictable winter-related driving conditions.

So how should we prep for winter driving?

I came across this awesomely helpful video by ChrisFix. In the video, Chris not only shares practical tips on how to prevent your car from stalling on a cold winter day. He also shares a lot of common sense tips on how you can survive in a stalled car on a very cold winter day.

Make sure to take some notes as Chris shares a list of items you should always keep in your car. I did and I have all of these items stocked in my vehicle.

The folding shovel was truly a great tip. I never thought of that!
